Mayank Ohri

Mayank Ohri is the CEO and founder of the Metabolite Clinic. He is a board-certified Internal Medicine and Obesity Medicine specialist. Dr. Ohri further advanced his studies enrolling in an MBA program allowing for a broader understanding of health care systems, health disparities and innovation in healthcare.

Dr. Ohri completed his specialized Internal Medicine training in Miami, Florida and then transitioned to Michigan where he served as an Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine at the Central Michigan University (CMU) for the Internal Medicine Residency Program. He trained internal medicine residents and medical students from CMU and participated at grand rounds, didactics, academic conferences including research at the American College of Physicians (ACP) and presented at an international conference in Rome, Italy.

In 2022, Dr. Ohri transitioned back to Toronto, Canada and worked as part of the General Internal Medicine Division at Trillium Health Partners and Lakeridge Health. He continues to be involved in medical education as an Assistant Professor at Queen’s University. In 2023, he decided to open the Metabolite Clinic and has been actively working to transform and help his patient’s achieve their best health. Dr. Ohri believes tackling obesity and weight loss involves taking a unique multi-pronged approach to each patient and is continually working towards novel approaches to care.

Sally

Sally is a dedicated and passionate Registered Dietitian with a mission to empower individuals to achieve optimal health through personalized nutrition. She has a Bachelor of Applied Science in Applied Human Nutrition from the University of Guelph and a Master of Public Health in Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Toronto. She believes in a holistic approach to nutrition that considers the unique needs, preferences, and lifestyles of each client. With experience in weight management counselling, her goal is to create sustainable and enjoyable eating patterns that promote long-term health and well-being. Through evidence-based practice and a client-centered approach, she strives to inspire and guide individuals in achieving their health goals.
